SUNFLOWER Haven in Quezon City? Yes Please!

Sunflowers are really one of the most adorable flowers you would see that never fail in pleasing our eyes. You’ve probably heard of the top Sunflower Garden destinations in the country like the Sunflower Maze in Pangasinan, or the other one in Bicol Region. But we have to admit that it may be too far and crowded for some reasons. Worry no more cause we already have it here in Metro Manila. Specifically in UP Diliman, Quezon City! So what are you waiting for?

These flowers are bloomed along the University Avenue ending at the Quezon Hall, in UP Diliman (where you will find the Oblation Statue) or other parts of the campus. So definitely entrance fee won’t be your problem! Just be sure to bring an extra umbrella cause it might rain whatever time of the day it is. The stretches of sunflowers are too long that you must take pictures as much as you can! 🌻

GETTING THERE:

There are several ways in reaching UP Diliman. You can ride a jeepney or a van coming from Trinoma/SMNE/Philcoa (less than 20-30 mins) or other parts of the Quezon City that passes along UP. Alight upon reaching the lines of sunflowers, that’s the University Avenue!

REMINDERS:

Never pick the flowers nor destroy them. These sunflowers are actually bloomed every June during the Graduation Month. So always be extra careful when taking pictures as a respect to the UP Community. And especially, enjoy the sunflower vibes!
